A FACILITY CALLED THE TELEGRAM – STOP

EXISTED FOR A HUNDRED AND SIXTY YEARS – STOP

SHORT MESSAGES DOWN OUR THROAT IT DID RAM – STOP

PROVIDING PEOPLE THE CREEPIES AND THE FEARS – STOP

AS I WRITE THIS SENTIMENTAL ABRIDGED ODE  – STOP

THE DOTS AND DASHES ARE REPLACED BY TEARS – STOP

PEOPLE NOW OPT FOR TRANSMISSION OF A DIFFERENT CODE – STOP

AND THEREFORE GOODBYE IT WILL BE AFTER ALL THESE YEARS – STOP

The Government has decided to discontinue the old telegram service in India from 15^th July 2013.   I decided to make the earlier telegram shorter since it is expensive to send big telegrams since they are priced on the basis of the number of words.
