A COBBLER’S TALE

I’m just an ordinary  cobbler

Who mends damaged soles

Of shoes worn forever

By poor tortured souls

But what can a cobbler do

When the poor arse-holes

Don’t care about their shoe

And don’t want me to mend their souls

So may God bless their holes

And let them continue on doles

While a good cobbler

Could have sorted them out forever.

So if you have a damaged soul

Or a sole to mend permanently

Send the person with the hole

And I shall stitch them up cleverly
