Rain, rain,
rain
My body doth
yearn
For the
cooling rain
To rid me of
the burning
Of the
scorching sun a shining.
Oh Rain! Where
art thou?
Forget me not
in my hour of need
Rain on time
Rain at full
blast and speed
Rain on time
Rain during
the season
So that this earth
of mine
Can be
radiantly green in all season
And the sun
then gently shine
In the sky so
blue and fine
Oh! For rain
in the summer season
