JUNE’S MOONBEAMS - REVISED

June is when my moon beams arrive

And I’m glad to say that three of them are mine

These three moonbeams are the apples of my eye

And make my life full of pleasure which I find

So the first beam will light up in a few days from now

And the second beam will shine later and glow

The third will light up five days after and how

Making my countenance joyful and aglow

There were more of those moon beams here

That were not mine and did not really care

Thank God for the three that are here

and my prayers for those who did not care

but June is when my moon beams arrive

and I’m glad to say three of them are mine

These moonbeams are the apples of my eye

and treasured forever in my heart and this rhyme

Well June is here once again and I am therefore revising a poem that I wrote in 2014 to all the women in my life; my sweet June babies.... Happy Birthday to them all....
