BURSTING YOUR BUBBLE

Forgive me if I burst your bubble;
forgive me if I crush your dreams
but listen to me for I warn you of trouble
ain’t nobody here for you but yourself it seems
Forgive me for being and sounding rude
Forgive me for really having no pity
I may sound totally and obnoxiously crude
But I’m truly singing your epiphany
for only you; just you alone are true
You come alone and go alone with no company
You meet people who act as friends so true
but find you live with people who are like stone
They are only those in disguise; those fiends
who are friendly like a dog that needs a bone.
Forgive me if I have come to burst your bubble;
forgive me if I have just crushed your dreams
but I do not want you to get into trouble
So my message negative therefore it seems;
Remember you are your own friend and master
then indeed your happiness will be forever
