YES, WE CAN

When a guy comes to you and says;

Just says “Yes, I can”,

You’ve gotta be careful

of what he cannot or can.

He can betray a friend

or can let a friend down

He can fool people as a friend

or drive people beyond the bend.

He can at times righteous sound

He can be the cause of your damaged liver

He can bury you in the ground

and can destroy you forever

for the “I Can’

has a selfish connotation

unlike the “We Can”

therefore friends take inspiration

and avoid the “I can’

for “Yes, We Can…”
