Have you ever listened to the music of silence?

How sweet and melodious do its notes ring

Wild music only breeds violence

But silence is soft and harmonious does sing.

The music of silence is the music of our breath

How many of us have stopped to listen

To this the music of the earth

Not many; for we all are busy in sin.

The music of silence is the chant of the divine

How precious and special it does sound

Much more intoxicating than wine

But harmless and with good health it does abound

The music of silence is not depressing but uplifting

How high does the soul that listens soar

Calm, serene, gentle and comforting

Such music can never ever be a bore.
