BRANDING THE MASKS

It just struck me

that the face masks

being used today

are in great demand

in my poor country

and may provide

a branding opportunity

to companies which wish

to promote their products.

If corporates could market

all their products

by printing on the masks

and advertise across

the face of the masks.

The cost of the masks

could then be brought down

and its reach

extended to the poorest

of the poorest

who would benefit greatly

while also providing publicity

for these brands.

Pity that Corona Beer

cannot advertise

for alcoholic beverages

cannot advertise

in my country

Guess my idle mind

has to just shut down

and something else to do find

or else get kicked

by you my dear readers

now, I know I’m effed

for being Consistently Crazy

It just struck me that the face masks which are being used currently in huge numbers could provide a branding opportunity. Brands can advertise across the face of the mask...

These masks are in great demand in India and if corporates could market their brands by printing on the masks the cost of the masks could be brought down and its reaching the poorest of the poor would be increased while also providing publicity for these brands...

Actually pharma cos, hospitals & medical equipment cos can advertise on masks and even if they don't want to distribute free they can give it to NGOs at cost price and enable the poor in urban & rural areas to protect themselves at low cost...

For ex, a mask marketed currently at 100Rs can be made available to the poor at Rs 15 or so...
