The best time of the Year
in any clime is July everywhere
as bleak autumn and cold winter
are still too far away
Hopefully, Corona's fury reduces
before winter commences
Quintilis turned into July
with the advent of Caesar
please, don’t ask me why
but power gives privilege here
and so did Julius Caesar
once name this month July
Freedom’s synonym is July
for America got its independence
and the Bastille did fall from the sky
Mandela too was born hence
so too Lasagna, Hot Dogs, ice-creams
which we now enjoy; Swiggy does dispense
July is the noble month
when Cancer turns to Leo.
As it moves south
to Corona it does bid adieu
Those born in it may seem blunt
but are sincere and loyal too
July has been the first month
for me each and every Year
for it was only in July then
that I was born here.
Therefore my calendar
too doth so begin here
Come July, dear July Come
with Corona free warmth and love
to my home do uninfected come
with good health bless us all now
and do stay with us;
to drive Corona away with love
As this July commences
for God’s mercy I pray
and hope he does bless us
while the month here does stay
July, please do be nice to us
let this planet turn Corona free
