THE WOLF WITH A LAMB’S HEART

A Wolf found great difficulty

in getting at the sheep

owing to their agility

of staying  out of reach

He then thought up a strategy

To get closer to them

He claimed he had a surgery

And had a lamb’s heart like them

The poor sheep did believe him

And thus did he befriend them

Until, their leader did he become.

The leader appeared noble

And did really care for them

But he could not resist to gooble

And make a feast of some

A lamb would be found daily missing

And their leader would act as if a searching

While he felt it was truly a blessing

To eat a fatted lamb everyday

for it would keep the doctor away

the favourite of the lamb’s part

would be the poor lamb’s heart

for after all he was

a Wolf with a lamb’s heart.

Don’t ask me if the wolf was caught

For in today’s world

It is not the honest as we are taught

Who escape scot free….

But only the wolf with a lamb’s heart.
