In the name of a so called socialistic Democracy
We have fucked up this glorious and blessed country
For democracy truly means the same rule for and by all
But we talk only about reservation for the weak and small
We have thereby allowed lack of quality and mediocrity to thrive
While the intelligent and the smart with the merit face only strife
And dumbing down is all that that the politicians have achieved
Leaving the honest, the upright and all those worthy really peeved
Our very foundations are flawed and as a result truly weak
Leaving the honest, the upright and all those worthy truly meek
Can’t you see what socialistic Democracy is doing to us
Or am I the only one causing and raising a fuss
Quality in everything; only quality is all that we Indians need
To bring our country out of this morass and upto speed
Quality in all walks of life and quality in everything we do
Is what is lacking and harming this country too
We talk of quality assurance without knowing its implication
For we do remain a nation knowing not our destination
For we are a nation which does not know its own destination
For we are a nation knowing not our destination
