Music is stagnating

All tunes sound the same

No more enjoyable or enchanting

Music has lost its way

Music is stagnating

All notes and riffs have been played

No more jivey or captivating

Music is just dead

WE ARE STILL ANIMALS

Screw one and dump for another

Screw another and dump for yet another

Is there any difference

Between animals and you of irreverence

Animals may suffer from indifference

What happens is plain carnal insensitivity

Just screw and dump for another

Shows our human proclivity

To then screw and dump for yet another

For we are yet animals, aren’t we?         

ON LIFE: TAKE IT EASY

Life wasn't meant to be

Experienced in a day

So go slow baby

Relax, take it real easy

Live life by the day

And you are sure to see

That life isn't about the way

You live it today

But about how you

Take it slow today

and be really sure

you will live another day.

Don’t try to rush it

Take it by the day

And you’ll surely live it

All the fuckin’ way

For Life wasn't meant to be

Experienced in a day

Just relax and enjoy

Every stage of the way

Live your childhood as a boy

And be patient in every way

To taste the pleasures

Of an adult as you surely may

For life surely measures

Every stage of the way

So that memory’s treasures

Are experienced as they may

Take it real easy

And the fruits of life

Will then taste like honey

As you continue to live life

You sure will be happy, my baby

The above poem was easy to write but it is rather difficult to live by, especially for a passionate guy like me. This is basically the wisdom of hindsight for I too rushed to do things rather than wait for them to happen on their own.

PERFECT LIVES

When the leopard has a toothache,

Then the goat can go to collect a debt

When the lion has a cool milkshake

Then the cow need not be worried about death

But nothing is ever caused by accident;

Neither the toothache nor the milkshake.

Everything is as per a master plan irredundant.

Just like a cake; so does life properly bake

When the leopard brushes its teeth regularly

Then the goat too will not have a debt to collect

When the lion turns into a vegan completely

Then the cow’s milk reaches its calf so select

Then the accident is never but a nothing so perfect

Then the debt collector and the vegan do elect

To live a life so ever pure and completely perfect

LIKE YOU KNOW

I met a guy who used

The phrase, “Like you know”

I should say rather abused

 I hope you know, “Like you know”

He must have used

it about a hundred times

In five minutes of talking to me.

Just talking a few lines,

Can say a lot about a person you see

“Like you know” he went on and on

But the problem was that I didn’t know.

I did not know what he knew

Or what he did not know

but only knew,

“Like you know”

AMERICANS WANT

Americans want

to be number one

So  they want

to make an American

out of  everyone

That seems to be the basis

of their immigration policy

Not understanding my hypothesis

that this will affect their quality

LOVE IS NOT BLIND

Love is not blind

It is those who claim to love;

Who are truly blind

For they love with their minds

And not with their hearts

And therefore to them;

Love turns blind

IS IT NECESSARY?

Is it necessary

to understand my poems?

Is it necessary

to understand my rhymes?

Is it necessary

that my work is art?

Or is it necessary

To know my work as that of a fart?

GLOBAL KARMA

The British

colonised the world

And now the selfish

whole world

has colonised Britain, itself

That’s what I call

Global Karma

Which does unfold

As the Kingdom’s Dharma

is now covered

by all hues of tan

Reaping what they sowed

And they now need a can

For they are stoned

And the shit has hit the fan

THE FREAK

When I was young

It was hep to be a freak

And a freak was me

Who was different.

I grew up a freak

One who was different

Now I’m old

But it is no more hep to be a freak

For now a freak is one

Who is considered crazy

While I am merely old and lazy

And no more freaky
